Hi guys, Michelle Garcia here with Windermere Coeur d’Alene Realty and lakeCDArealestate.com. I’m super excited about this because we’re standing here at the Atlas Mill park. There’s different names for it; Atlas Waterfront Project, Atlas Mill Park. I want to point out a few things because here we are in June of 2021, and we’ve got a lot of activity. I’m going to be doing a series of updates on the construction that’s going on behind us, over there. But behind me over here, if you’re familiar with the Coeur d’Alene area, behind me is Riverstone, Le Peep restaurant, you might know that, it’s a waterfront dining area. The pathway over by Le Peep and the Riverstone area used to end until this opened up recently. So this whole pathway is open to the public, and the new waterfront park behind us over that direction is a bunch of new construction.
So I’m doing videos. I actually sold the first house in there. It’s being constructed now, but I wanted to introduce everyone to kind of what’s going on. What Devon’s pointing at now down here, we have a waterfront dog park. Who has that? That is so cool. You can come down on a nice day like today, and bring your pooch and they can jump in the water or just play around, stay as long as you want. Down beyond here, we’ll walk this direction over here, you’ve got just a regular public beach. Then if you pan up over here to the right of the pathway, there’s houses up there, so that’s all part of Riverstone, up yonder. There’s still some building going on in Riverstone, but I just wanted to introduce kind of the park area and it’s a way, so we won’t go the whole distance, but there’s also a play structure down there. This pathway’s quite long.
We have 4,000 lineal feet of waterfront here and the whole project is about, what is it? 47 acres is the waterfront project. So it’s just a variety. It’s a neat area. You don’t see a ton of people down here right now, although it’s gorgeous, and I think that’s because not a lot of people know this is here yet and open to the public, but they will. Down here lastly, let’s cross over here. I’ll do a different video down, further down the path further, but I do want to point out this ramp here is an ADA ramp, so if someone is in a wheelchair and they want to wheel themselves into the water, there’s actually a place, in between the two ramps, where they can have a kayak or canoe or something. It’s just a really neat, like we’ve got the boats out on the water, they’re enjoying themselves on the pontoon and it’s just a really cool area to come down and enjoy.

Hi guys, Michelle Garcia here with Windermere Coeur d’Alene Realty on lakeCDArealestate.com. I wanted to introduce you to the Atlas Mill Waterfront Park. I did a bit video down the way here, and I wanted to do one from this vantage point because you can kind of see some different things. Just in summary, this is a very large project where I’m in the city of Coeur d’Alene and this is an old mill site, so some people just refer to it as Atlas Mill. I think the construction part of it, they’re calling the Atlas Waterfront Project, but I think that’s really the whole thing. Down here, if you’re familiar with the area, you’ve got Riverstone straight away, and so there’s condos, there’s a couple restaurants. One of them, if you’re from the area, you might know Le Peep restaurant, that’s right on in the water. So we’re on the Spokane river here, and this development is about, I think it’s 47 acres, so it’s quite large, and it sits between Riverstone in that direction.
And then if you pan around that way, down the river, the other side of this huge construction project is Mill River. And just to give you an idea of where we are, and we’re kind of running parallel to the 90 freeway and Celtics. Over here, you’ve got an actual park. You can come and bring the kids and play. This is all open. This section is all open by the way, and it’s meant to be used by the public. All of this waterfront here is public access, which is awesome. So you can see people are having fun out on their boats
You can access Lake Coeur d’Alene just beyond the highway there. I don’t know if you can capture it in the video, but there’s a bridge, so that it’s highway 95. Once you go under that, and go beyond that a little bit, you’ll be able to access Lake Coeur d’Alene. It’s just an awesome area, and also in this direction, you have a dog park. That’s what we just showed in the other video, and you’ve got just a regular beach area, but the dog park happens to be waterfront. You can throw the ball in the water and it’s just great fun.
And you also have the ADA ramp there for anyone, they can take a wheelchair down the ramp and put in a kayak or whatever. It’s just going to be an amazing project.
